Klauke Micro
One Tool for a Wide Range of Applications
Features of the battery-powered Klauke Micro product family have been extended with new dies that now allow the tool to crimp connectors and cut and strip cables in a more versatile way.
Dies added to the product family: S502 cutting dies, SD5006-SD5035 stripping dies with SD50CS stop sleeve and PV502 crimping dies for MC4 solar connectors.
S502 Cutting Dies
S502 cutting dies are suitable for: cutting knot chains, class 2 wires with cross-sections up to 25mm², copper rails up to 3mm x 10mm and steel cables up to 3mm. Dies allow precise and easy cutting of the above materials.
SD5006-SD5035 Stripping Dies and SD50CS Stop Sleeve
SD5006 to SD5035 stripping dies are designed for stripping cables with cross-sections of 6-35mm². Compared to manual stripping the micro stripping dies are fast, easy and safe to use. In addition, the dies ensure a clean finish without damaging the cables to be stripped.
The stripping dies are suitable for a wide range of insulation materials, even more rigid insulations.
In many cases, stripping and cutting of cables is performed at the same time. Micro's stripping dies have an integrated cutting blade that allows the cutting of wires, whether they are single, multi or fine stranded.
The adjustable stop sleeve ensures an accurate and desired stripping length.
PV502 Crimping Dies for MC4 Solar Connectors
PV502 crimping dies are specifically designed for 2,5–6mm² MC4 solar connectors. Compatibility has been tested with MC4® solar connectors from Stäubli Electrical Connectors AG (MC4® is a registered trademark of Stäubli Electrical Connectors).
Micro's manual pre-clamping function frees one hand for cable insertion, making work easier. The advantages of Klauke micro are particularly pronounced in large installation applications: less force is required for crimping, arm strain is reduced and work is significantly more efficient.
Dies for Crimping Cable end Sleeves and Insulated Connectors
The range also includes dies for crimping cable end sleeves and insulated connectors as well as Klauke R-series and DIN cable lugs. In addition, crimping dies are also available for twin cable end sleeves. Thanks to the optimised square crimping the sleeves are suitable for all common connectors.
